I am generally pretty flexible with the things I like. Character-driven stories are awesome, plot-driven stories are awesome, explicit porn is awesome, angst and bleakness are awesome, happy endings are awesome, humor is awesome! Etc.
Other favourite things include:
-Canon divergence AUs!
-Time travel shenanigans, particularly characters going back in time to change their own past (I always love a good Peggy Sue!)
-Politics, history and worldbuilding
-Road trips (or spaceship trips, actual ship trips, etc)
-Stoic women with repressed feelings
-Female antiheroes or villains with complex motivations
-Enemies forced to work together by circumstance
-Unexpected and unconventional happy endings
-Bittersweet endings
-Tragedies that are more-or-less inevitable given the nature of the individuals involved
-People living in less-than-ideal or even actively hostile situations who manage to carve out some kind of happiness despite that.
Porn likes include rough/frantic sex, emphasising nonhuman strengths/capabilities/anatomy for nonhuman or superpowered characters, dirty talk, mild D/s, and bondage/restraints.
I am generally okay with violence, noncon, character death, etc - provided that it is warned for up front - though I would prefer that stories do not focus solely on trauma/horror/violence, and if these do come up as part of the story, I am more interested in the lead up and the aftermath than in dragging out the details of the act itself.
If you need to work your way around a canon relationship of any configuration (or just like writing it), I do generally enjoy poly! "They were together and then they broke up" and "don't even mention it" are also fine.

Finduilas Faelivrin/Niënor Níniel
Team "people who got screwed over by Turin Turambar and didn't deserve it" please! Despite their sad ends, both of these characters are so interesting, and I'm obsessed with coming up with ways they could have met in canon - and please feel free to go full canon divergence so they can survive, as well, if you'd like to! They're both strong-willed and love really passionately, and I think they'd have a lot in common (beyond a similarly shitty taste in men) if they ever had a chance to meet.
If you wanted to go full canon divergence and/or role reversal, I would be there with bells on - maybe Nienor is the mysterious helmed warrior who shows up in Nargothrond instead of Turin? Or Nienor is fostered in Nargothrond rather than, or as well as, Turin in Doriath? Finduilas is the one who rescues an amnesiac Nienor? Maybe Finduilas survives the sack of Nargathrond but loses her memory and Nienor saves her? Or even just "both survive Turin and meet later" - the Havens of Sirion, probably, but if you wanted to write them leaving Beleriand and having an adventure in First Age Middle-Earth that would be lovely too.
I would also be fascinated if you wanted to run with the idea that Finduilas did survive and became Gil-Galad, too - I would be fascinated by a genderqueer Finduilas or woman-disguised-as-a-man Finduilas, either would be lovely, and if you wanted to explore what Elven ideas of gender might be that could be lots of fun! (Trans male Finduilas would also be interesting, but not for a femslash exchange...)
I am happy for you to go wild with poly/background pairings including any het or m/m combo (I ship pretty much any combo of Finduilas, Nienor, Turin, Beleg, Gwindor and Brandir) provided that the focus remains on Finduilas and Nienor.

Daenerys Targaryen/Missandei of Naath
Still not over Season 8, still mad about it. All I really want is for the two of them to be happy!
I loved the tiny hints we saw in the show of the depth of the relationship between Missandei and Daenerys - braiding each other's hair, holding hands in the face of death in the fighting pits of Meereen, not to mention "I'd burn down the world if something happened to you" was literally true in Daenerys' case - and I'd absolutely adore anything that fleshed out that relationship. I'd particularly love a chance to see more of their relationship from Missandei's point of view - those little moments aside, Missandei was always so formal and deferential towards Daenerys, it would be really lovely to see a more assertive side of Missandei, in a relationship where she and Daenerys are more equal.
I feel like there's definitely space in canon for something more to have happened between Missandei and Daenerys, but I would also absolutely adore an AU or fix-it fic. I was annoyed by how in the last couple of seasons, Daenerys had overwhelming military force but completely failed to conquer the Seven Kingdoms because... the writers wanted to keep Cersei and Jaime round until the last season, I guess? It often seemed really contrived, and I feel like there are a ton of good branching points for a Team Dany wins canon divergence AU. Alternatively, I'm a sucker for stories where they all stay in/return to Essos and keep going with the anti-slavery crusade; that could be lots of fun as well!
I really love Grey Worm and his canon relationship with Missandei, and his and Daenerys's loyalty to each other - I'm very happy for background Grey Worm/Missandei to appear. And if you wanted to explore some kind of poly - either a poly V or a triad - that would be really fun!

If I could summarise these requests, it would be REBELLION ERA LADIES! I'm really fascinated by that period, and how seemingly small decisions made during that time had such massive consequences down the line. Most of these requests involve members of the dead ladies club and I'd LOVE any story that fixes that, but I'd also love something set during canon - missing scenes focused on the women themselves rather than the men in their lives.
Elia/Lyanna is always fascinating - I feel like they'd start with a LOT of hostility/shame towards each other and I'd love to see that progress to something different, whether in a missing moment from canon, an AU where Rhaegar won, an AU where Robert won and both lived, or something quite different.
Ashara/Lyanna is my new favourite crack pairing, and my favourite Stark option for Ashara to be shipped with - particularly in an AU where Lyanna ran off with ASHARA after Harrenhal, or where Ashara and Lyanna faked their canon deaths and actually ran off to live in Essos together.
Catelyn/Elia is another crack ship for two people who likely met only briefly in canon, if at all, but they have a sad/interesting parallel in their time at Harrenhal (Catelyn's current betrothed or future husband got Ashara Dayne pregnant, and Elia's husband crowned Lyanna) and I feel like they'd be quite similar, in being kind and generous but also political players.
And Cersei and Elia were contrasted as rivals for Rhaegar and as representatives of their houses - I'd be fascinated to see them interact as adults on their own merits. They'd probably start off hating each other? Or at least Cersei would hate Elia - I can see Elia just feeling sorry for Cersei which she would also hate, lol. But seeing them grow past that and discover what they had in common could be really interesting.
The one exception to all my rebellion era requests is Sansa/Rhaenys, which obviously requires a canon divergence AU where Rhaenys lived - take this as far from or as close to canon as you like. I particularly like the idea that in an AU where Ned managed to save Rhaenys, Sansa might romantise the princess her father saved - just like a song! - which would be an interesting basis for them to actually meet in person. Maybe they end up as hostages of the Lannisters together in King's Landing?

Once again, I would really love a canon divergence AU (RENFRI LIVES!) or a missing moment from canon for any of these - except for Ciri/Renfri which I guess does require a RENFRI LIVES! AU, lol.
I love Yennefer, and I love how complex and painful her relationship with Tissaia is - Tissaia was absolutely emotionally abusive when Yennefer was her student, and neither of them can get past that (and maybe nor should they?) but at the same time they are both desperate for the other's approval and love, and I find it absolutely compelling. Any canon or canon divergence story would be lovely, I'm also cool with fucked-up relationship dynamics and teacher/student at Aretuza.
I also love Fringilla, I really wish we saw more of her transformation from the kind, slightly awkward student in Aretuza to the ice-cold true believer of Sodden Hill, and I love her rivalry with Yennefer. I'd love to see more of them together - "enemies forced to work together" is one of my all-time favourite tropes - Or maybe an AU where Yennefer went to Nilfgaard instead of or as well as Fringilla?
I loved Renfri and Marilka, they're both such interesting blends of ruthless pragmatism and real caring, clearly shaped by the misogyny of their lives but trying to rise above it - I'd love to see how they would interact. In particular, I am absolutely fascinated by the idea that Renfri could have sought Marilka's help instead of Geralt's - Marilka is far more ruthless and pragmatic than Geralt, I think, and I can see Renfri using Marilka's own self-interest to convince her to switch sides. Or a Renfri lives AU where she ends up meeting up with Marilka much later?
Renfri and Ciri both kind of get a fairytale-princess-deconstructed storyline, and with all the parallels, I'd love to see them meet - maybe Renfri takes the place of Geralt, with Ciri as her child surprise she ends up mentoring? Or maybe Ciri is still Geralt's child surprise, but ends up breaking free of that path and travelling with Renfri anyway? I feel like a Renfri who had lived until Ciri's era would have had time to grow past a lot of her trauma, I'd love to see what she'd be like!
Avatar: the Last Airbender

Individually, Katara and Azula are two of my favourite characters (though I hate that Azula never got her redeepmtion arc) and as much as I hate that Azula ended up where she did, I do love that Katara is the only person who is both strong and smart enough to defeat her. I just want more between the two of them! I feel like Katara/Azula could be taken in so many different directions, all the way from messed up angry hatesex (I'd prefer no actual noncon, though) to reluctant allies to redeepmtion roadtrip to older wiser ladies discovering common ground. Or if you wanted to go full AU, there's so many wonderful possibilities - what if Azula was the one to be scarred, banished and end up on a voyage of self-discovery? Or what if Katara was kidnapped by the Fire Nation as a child and ended up working for Azula as one of her dangerous ladies? Or an arranged marriage AU?
Katara/Mai has been the crack pairing of my heart for many, many years, I love the idea of them becoming friends (and more than that!) so much. Katara needs more lady friends (Mai needs more friends, in general!) and I feel like they might have a lot more in common with each other than it might initially appear. They both have no patience with unpleasant people and share a common interest in looking nice, staying clean, and, when necessary, committing violence. I'd love to see a reluctant allies story where they have to work together for some plot reason, or a gradually developing friendship/romance as they discover common ground, set post-canon or in an AU - maybe Mai joined the Gaang earlier, alongside or instead of Zuko? Or a story where Katara was stuck in a post-Agni Kai Fire Nation for longer than canon, and ended up working with Mai to help Zuko secure his position on the throne?
The Old Guard

I had such a good time watching this movie, and I fucking adored Andy and Nile, but I just wished they'd made the queer f/f subtext more explicit. Andy and Quynh had to have had every bit as epic a romance as Nicky and Joe, right?
There's no way that I can see Andy/Quynh as not being canon, but the thing I want most is actually more focus on Nile. I loved her determination SO MUCH, and her relationship with hot grizzled mentor Andy was just the stuff dreams are made of, honestly. I'd love to see Andy and Nile's relationship get the chance to develop into something more, particularly if you wanted to riff off how Andy is setting Nile up to take her place as leader of the team.
But I'd also LOVE it if you brought Quynh back into the mix! Make it messy, make it complicated, make Andy genuinely torn - but not, like, ANDY thinking that Nile will always be second best to Quynh - a relatively happy resolution would be loved, but not required. (But don't make it unremittingly bleak, either, please.) I'd particularly like to see Nile and Quynh together - having to work together for whatever reason, trying to save Andy together - but I would prefer Andy to remain part of the relationship too.
One caveat: Andy's mortality makes me really sad. I'd love a story where that got fixed, but I'm also happy to keep it, provided that Andy doesn't end up permanently dead by the end. Please also don't imply that she's about to go shortly after the story finishes, or even linger too much on her mortality and how Nile is going to have to live through centuries without her - it just makes me really sad and I'd rather not.
If you're into crossovers, feel free to have the Old Guard characters show up in any other fandom/setting I've requested, that would be a lot of fun!
Star Wars
Sabine Wren/Ketsu Onyo
I 100% read Ketsu as Sabine’s super dramatic ex - I’d love to see anything between them in any period, including a happy future where they work their shit out and get back together. In particular, I'd love some Ketsu perspective on the events of canon, or some Ketsu backstory, and if that gets into ridiculous OTT Mandalorian politics/history, all the better! My secret headcanon - for maximum lesbian Romeo and Juliet drama - is that Ketsu's clan belong(ed) to House Kryze and were pacifist New Mandalorians back in the day, which would then put a whole extra layer of complex tragedy on Ketsu's ice-cold survivalist persona when we first meet her, not to mention complicating her relationship with House Viszla-aligned Sabine and Sabine's commitment to traditional Mandalorian culture. But really anything Ketsu (and Sabine) would be a delight! I just want to know more about her, and about her relationship with Sabine.
It would also be fun to see where Sabine and Ketsu end up in the future - despite the absurd, OTT amount of backstory they have both managed to fit in by the start of the show (Imperial cadets, criminal gang members, Rebellion members) they're both so damn young - it would be amazing to see what their lives were like in another ten or twenty years, too. If you wanted to crossover with The Mandalorian characters, that would be really fun too! Baby Yoda is a bit young to need a lightsaber teacher yet, but one day...!

Renfri and Ciri both kind of get a fairytale-princess-deconstructed storyline, and with all the parallels, I'd love to see them meet - maybe Renfri takes the place of Geralt, with Ciri as her child surprise she ends up mentoring? Or maybe Ciri is still Geralt's child surprise, but ends up breaking free of that path and travelling with Renfri anyway? I feel like a Renfri who had lived until Ciri's era would have had time to grow past a lot of her trauma, I'd love to see what she'd be like!

Individually, Katara and Azula are two of my favourite characters (though I hate that Azula never got her redeepmtion arc) and as much as I hate that Azula ended up where she did, I do love that Katara is the only person who is both strong and smart enough to defeat her. I just want more between the two of them! I feel like Katara/Azula could be taken in so many different directions, all the way from messed up angry hatesex (I'd prefer no actual noncon, though) to reluctant allies to redeepmtion roadtrip to older wiser ladies discovering common ground. Or if you wanted to go full AU, there's so many wonderful possibilities - what if Azula was the one to be scarred, banished and end up on a voyage of self-discovery? Or what if Katara was kidnapped by the Fire Nation as a child and ended up working for Azula as one of her dangerous ladies? Or an arranged marriage AU?
Katara/Mai has been the crack pairing of my heart for many, many years, I love the idea of them becoming friends (and more than that!) so much. Katara needs more lady friends (Mai needs more friends, in general!) and I feel like they might have a lot more in common with each other than it might initially appear. They both have no patience with unpleasant people and share a common interest in looking nice, staying clean, and, when necessary, committing violence. I'd love to see a reluctant allies story where they have to work together for some plot reason, or a gradually developing friendship/romance as they discover common ground, set post-canon or in an AU - maybe Mai joined the Gaang earlier, alongside or instead of Zuko? Or a story where Katara was stuck in a post-Agni Kai Fire Nation for longer than canon, and ended up working with Mai to help Zuko secure his position on the throne?

I had such a good time watching this movie, and I fucking adored Andy and Nile, but I just wished they'd made the queer f/f subtext more explicit. Andy and Quynh had to have had every bit as epic a romance as Nicky and Joe, right?
There's no way that I can see Andy/Quynh as not being canon, but the thing I want most is actually more focus on Nile. I loved her determination SO MUCH, and her relationship with hot grizzled mentor Andy was just the stuff dreams are made of, honestly. I'd love to see Andy and Nile's relationship get the chance to develop into something more, particularly if you wanted to riff off how Andy is setting Nile up to take her place as leader of the team.
But I'd also LOVE it if you brought Quynh back into the mix! Make it messy, make it complicated, make Andy genuinely torn - but not, like, ANDY thinking that Nile will always be second best to Quynh - a relatively happy resolution would be loved, but not required. (But don't make it unremittingly bleak, either, please.) I'd particularly like to see Nile and Quynh together - having to work together for whatever reason, trying to save Andy together - but I would prefer Andy to remain part of the relationship too.
One caveat: Andy's mortality makes me really sad. I'd love a story where that got fixed, but I'm also happy to keep it, provided that Andy doesn't end up permanently dead by the end. Please also don't imply that she's about to go shortly after the story finishes, or even linger too much on her mortality and how Nile is going to have to live through centuries without her - it just makes me really sad and I'd rather not.
If you're into crossovers, feel free to have the Old Guard characters show up in any other fandom/setting I've requested, that would be a lot of fun!

Sabine Wren/Ketsu Onyo
I 100% read Ketsu as Sabine’s super dramatic ex - I’d love to see anything between them in any period, including a happy future where they work their shit out and get back together. In particular, I'd love some Ketsu perspective on the events of canon, or some Ketsu backstory, and if that gets into ridiculous OTT Mandalorian politics/history, all the better! My secret headcanon - for maximum lesbian Romeo and Juliet drama - is that Ketsu's clan belong(ed) to House Kryze and were pacifist New Mandalorians back in the day, which would then put a whole extra layer of complex tragedy on Ketsu's ice-cold survivalist persona when we first meet her, not to mention complicating her relationship with House Viszla-aligned Sabine and Sabine's commitment to traditional Mandalorian culture. But really anything Ketsu (and Sabine) would be a delight! I just want to know more about her, and about her relationship with Sabine.
It would also be fun to see where Sabine and Ketsu end up in the future - despite the absurd, OTT amount of backstory they have both managed to fit in by the start of the show (Imperial cadets, criminal gang members, Rebellion members) they're both so damn young - it would be amazing to see what their lives were like in another ten or twenty years, too. If you wanted to crossover with The Mandalorian characters, that would be really fun too! Baby Yoda is a bit young to need a lightsaber teacher yet, but one day...!
